Slap City is currently available as an Early Access title on Steam for $9.99. In its latest patch, 0.9, Slap City offers seven characters, 20 Battle stages, four Slap Ball stages, and a ranked online mode in beta testing. It’s kind of like full-contact basketball. Battle is your typical Smash-like mode, and Slap Ball is a team-based sports mode where players fight while attempting to score in the opposing team’s basket. The game currently consists of two play modes: Battle and Slap Ball. You can participate in one-on-one ranked matches, save replays, and more. Slap City allows local play for up to four players, fights against AI, and online modes. Slap City takes characters from some of these games and allows players to compete in wacky multiplayer fights. These include Card City Nights, Ittle Dew, and MURI. The developer and publisher, Ludosity, has several other games on Steam. Slap City is a hilarious platform fighter similar to Smash Bros.
